Danny Stockstill, Co-Lead Pastor
Danny realized his passion for ministry while in Cape Town, South Africa, playing baseball with the mission organization, Athletes In Action. When Danny returned home that year, he accepted his first Ministry Position at Living Oaks Church in Tulsa as Minister to Students. Since that time, Danny has found opportunities to volunteer in his community . Currently Danny volunteers as a Chaplain with the Tulsa Police & Fire Chaplaincy Corps since 2003.
Danny and his wife Sarah have been married since 1999 and have two children, Cobin and Brinlee. Together, they embrace Brookside Church’s 3 pillars of Relationships, Missions, and Discipleship.
Brandon McCombs, Co-Lead Pastor
Brandon McCombs is a native of Tulsa, a graduate from Union High School, and received his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Theology from Slidell Baptist Seminary. He is the husband of Brandy McCombs, his high school sweetheart. They have four boys.
Brandon wears multiple hats throughout the week. In addition to co-pastoring Brookside Church, Brandon counsels and coaches competitive soccer. Brandon also serves the community of Tulsa by leading homeless outreaches through his non-profit, STL234 Outreaches.
Brandon has a simple motto: “Worry for nothing, but through prayer and supplication, let your requests be made known unto God,” Philippians 4:6-7.
Jeremy Hicks, Worship Pastor
Jeremy was raised in Battiest, Oklahoma. At the age of 10 he accepted Christ as his savior at church camp and soon after began singing in church on a regular basis. He took up playing the guitar at the age of 16, playing country/bluegrass gospel music at churches with his dad and brother. However, it wasn’t until 2003 – when Jeremy began college at OSU-Okmulgee – that he began to see a true call on his life into music ministry. During this time, he began playing guitar for the Baptist Student Union on campus and became the worship leader the following semester. In 2004, Jeremy achieved his Associates degree in Electrical-Electronics Technology and since then God has used him in bivocational ministry working in Music, Youth, and Pastoral ministry roles wherever the Lord leads him. In 2007 he married the love of his life, Jess and the two of them began playing and leading worship at churches, conferences, and events statewide. They have two boys, Cohen and Carter. In addition to church ministry, Jeremy works as a Field Systems Analyst for KAMO Power, where he has been employed since 2006.
One of Jeremy’s favorite Bible verses is Romans 8:28- “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
Joslynn Suffel,
Joslynn Suffel has always had a servants heart. She made Brookside Church her home church in 2018. She has her Bachelors is Family Studies. She is the mom of Bailey Suffel. Joslynn also does supervised Visitations for family court. Spreading the light and Joy of Jesus is her daily goal.
One of Joslynn’s favorite Bible verses is 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18 – ” rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ.”
Nicole Krehbiel, Children’s Minister
Nicole Krehbiel is thrilled to join the Brookside Church team as the new Children’s Director! Nicole is married to Matt and they have a precious baby girl, Jane. Originally from Virginia and with a background in Baking and Pastry, Nicole is a skilled cake decorator, but her true passion is working with children. She is dedicated to creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young ones to grow in faith.
One of Nicole’s favorite Bible verses is Philippians 4:7, “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” She is excited to share God’s love and peace with the children and families at Brookside Church.
Cobin Stockstill, Youth Minister
Cobin Stocsktill is currently a full time student at MNU in Kansas City, Kansas where he plays baseball and leads worship, while studying digital communications and entrepreneurship. Cobin was given the opportunity to be the Youth Minister at Brookside Church, while he is home from school, and minster to the youth of Tulsa. He enjoys fishing as well as playing guitar in his free time. Cobin is looking forward to watching how God can change lives here at Brookside Church.
