Missions
At Brookside Church, we believe the Gospel is meant to be shared—across the street and around the world. Our heart for missions is rooted in the call of Jesus to go and make disciples, serve others.
Each year, we send teams on separate mission trips to Ghana and Nigeria, building lasting relationships and serving communities in tangible, life-changing ways.
In Ghana, we partner with Seed Ministries to strengthen local churches and support community development. Through this partnership, we have helped build churches and water wells—providing both spiritual hope and practical resources that make a lasting impact.
In Nigeria, we partner with one of our own church partners who is originally from there. Together, we have helped build a school to invest in the next generation, providing education, opportunity, and the love of Christ to children and families in the community.
Over the years, God has also opened doors for ministry opportunities in places like Italy and London, and we remain prayerful and open to wherever He sends us next.
Our mission trips are designed to be accessible and life-changing. You don’t have to be a pastor or Bible scholar to go—just willing and available. We provide preparation, guidance, and support so that anyone who feels called can step out in faith and serve.
If traveling isn’t possible for you, you can still be part of the mission. You can partner through prayer, financial support, or by sponsoring someone who is going. Every gift and every prayer helps extend the reach of the Gospel.
Whether you go, give, or pray, there is a place for you in what God is doing through Brookside Church around the world.
Why We Go
We go because Jesus told us to go.
In the Great Commission, Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19). Missions is not just a program—it is the heartbeat of the Church. We believe every person deserves the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus Christ and experience His transforming love.
We go to serve, to encourage, to build, and to share hope. We go humbly, ready to learn and to partner with the local church. And we go in faith, trusting that God uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things for His Kingdom.
