Jeremy was raised in Battiest, Oklahoma. At the age of 10, he accepted Christ as his Savior at church camp and soon after began singing in church regularly. He picked up the guitar at 16, playing country and bluegrass gospel at churches alongside his father and brother.
However, it wasn’t until 2003—while attending Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology (OSUIT)—that Jeremy recognized a clear calling to music ministry. He began playing guitar for the Baptist Student Union on campus and transitioned into the role of worship leader the following semester.
After earning his degree in Electrical-Electronics Technology in 2004, Jeremy entered into bivocational ministry. Since then, God has led him through various roles in Music, Youth, and Pastoral ministry. In 2007, he married the love of his life, Jess; together, they have led worship at churches, conferences, and events throughout the state. They are the proud parents of two sons, Cohen and Carter.
In addition to his ministry work, Jeremy has been with KAMO Power since 2006, where he currently serves as the Supervisor of Field Systems.
One of Jeremy’s favorite Bible verses is Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
